Palmares de la Coronilla is a town in southeast Uruguay .
geography
The place is located in the area of the Rocha Department in its sector 5 of the Cuchilla de la Angostura upstream on the Atlantic coast. To the west lies Barrio Pereira in the interior, around two to three kilometers away . Up the coast in a north-easterly direction are the coastal towns of Puimayen and Barra del Chuy , while in the south-southwest La Coronilla on the coast and Capacho about two kilometers away are the closest villages.
