Palwehof or Palvehof was a district of Königsberg (Prussia) . It was north of Maraunenhof .
Surname
The Prussian term “ palwe ” describes a desert, treeless moss area, uncultivated heathland, a cleared forest area.
history
The Palwe is mentioned for the first time in 1450, namely the entire Palwe area of the Samland was designated, including Palmnicken (originally Palwenicken). Samitter Allee led to Palwehof, which stretched north of the Maraunenhof train station . The Königsberg city nursery was located here.
