Pampelonne
Pampelonne is a 4.5 km long sandy beach in the French Mediterranean town of Ramatuelle on the Côte d'Azur , about 2.5 km southeast of Saint-Tropez . The beach is limited in the south by Cap Camarat , in the north by Cap Pinet and in the west by vineyards, pine forests and luxury villas.
As a "remarkable natural landscape", the beach is subject to the Loi Littoral, an environmental protection law. The entire beach is freely accessible in the front area by the water, so it can be used anywhere for beach hikes and for swimming by anyone, the rear areas belong to luxury bars and restaurants.

Pampelonne Beach was one of the beaches where Operation Dragoon took place during World War II .
In 1956, Pampelonne became world-famous through Roger Vadim's film And et Dieu… créa la femme with Brigitte Bardot .
This beach is also featured in Louis de Funès' gendarme films .
