Pandora's Box was a female rock group that of Jim Steinman in 1989 with some members of his former band Fire Inc. was formed. They released a concept album, Original Sin .
Career
Members of the band were the singers Elaine Caswell , Ellen Foley , Gina Taylor and Deliria Wilde. There were also musicians Jim Steinman (keyboard), Roy Bittan (piano), Jeff Bova (keyboard, synthesizer), Jim Bralower (drums), Eddie Martinez (guitar) and Steve Buslowe (guitar).
Ellen Foley had with Steinman already with Meat Loaf's debut album Bat out of Hell collaborated Deliria Wilde was the lead singer of Fire Inc . This group was formed to contribute two Steinman songs to the soundtrack to the feature film Streets in Flames ( Nowhere Fast , Tonight Is What It Means to Be Young ).
Jim Steinman intended to send Pandora's Box on tour, with only one female singing voice in the foreground and the others singing in the background. Due to the commercial failure of the album, however, the tour was never realized.
The songs It Just Won't Quit and Good Girls Go to Heaven appeared on Meat Loaf's 1993 album Bat out of Hell II: Back Into Hell . He recorded and released the title track Original Sin for the 1995 album Welcome to the Neighborhood , the melody is also the main theme of the Steinman musical Dance of the Vampires . Two other songs ( It's All Coming Back to Me Now and The Future Ain't What It Used to Be ) were released on his 2006 album Bat out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose . Both his version of It's All Coming Back To Me Now (feat. Marion Raven ) was at number 6 in the British charts, as was that of Celine Dion at number 3, significantly more successful than the original.
