The Pankl Racing Systems AG is an Austrian company with headquarters in Bruck an der Mur , which had been founded in 1985 by Gerold Pankl. In addition to the company headquarters in Bruck an der Mur and the Kapfenberg location , Pankl has a global network with branches in Slovakia, Germany, Great Britain, the USA and Japan.

The foundation stone for the aerospace department was laid in 1994 when drive shafts for the tail rotors of helicopters were manufactured for the first time .

In 2011, Pankl took over the US crankshaft manufacturer SP Crankshaft, which was also founded by Gerold Pankl in 2004.

From 2016, Pankl built a new hall for the production of motorcycle transmissions in Styria, the opening took place in April 2018. A new aviation plant is to be built in Kapfenberg by the end of 2019.

On February 14, 2018, Pankl submitted an application for delisting from the stock exchange , the withdrawal from the stock exchange took place at the end of May 2018.
