The Panmah Glacier is located in the western Karakoram in the Pakistani special territory of Gilgit-Baltistan . The upper section of the glacier is called the Nobande Sobande Glacier .
The Panmah Glacier is a 31 km (40 km including the lower reaches of the Choktoi Glacier, into which the Panmah Glacier flows) long glacier in the Panmah Muztagh . It flows in an arc, initially to the east and later to the south. Important mountains that flank the glacier are Skamri Sar ( 6763 m ) and Bobisghir ( 6416 m ). The Panmah Glacier has several tributary glaciers - including Drenmang Glacier , Chiring Glacier , Southern Chiring Glacier , Second Feriol Glacier and Feriol Glacier . At the upper end of the glacier, the 5560 m high Skam La pass forms a transition to the Simgang glacier further west .
