The Skamri Sar is a 6763  m high mountain in the Panmah Muztagh in the Karakoram .

location

It is the highest peak in a mountain range that runs between the Drenmang Glacier in the south and the Skamrig Glacier in the north. The mountain is located on the border between Pakistan and the Shaksgam Valley, annexed by the People's Republic of China .

Ascent history

An ascent of Skamri Sar took place in 1979 by a Japanese expedition. Tetsuo Nogami and Norio Fukuda reached the summit on June 20th.
