Pantaleon (king)
Pantaleon was an Indo-Greek king whose reign was around 190 to 180 BC. Is set. He was a younger contemporary of Demetrios I or even ruled as his successor. His rulership probably mainly included Gandhara and Arachosia . He was the first Greek ruler to have Indian coins minted. A special feature of some coins is their material. They consist of a copper - nickel compound. Nickel has only been known in the West since the 18th century, but it was already in use in China at that time , so it was obviously associated with it.
