Under a kitchenette (also called mini-kitchen , Kitchenette , Minibar or Kitchenette called) is a small kitchen understood.

Pantry kitchens are usually between 0.90 and 1.20 meters wide, more rarely up to 1.60 meters. They usually consist of a sink , two burners and often a small refrigerator . Equipment with microwave ovens , ovens or dishwashers is less common . Pantry kitchens are mostly found in apartments and holiday flats , and less often in hotels . In addition, pantry kitchens are also installed on cabin boats, in caravans and mobile homes.

Hotels

In hotel rooms, these are often referred to as minibars or kitchenettes and include a refrigerator , microwave , at least one hotplate and sometimes a washing facility. They allow the guest a certain amount of self-sufficiency.
