The tank memorial in Lalendorf in the Rostock district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is the last tank memorial in this state.

The tank memorial was erected in 1975 on the 30th anniversary of the end of the Second World War . The Soviet T-34 tank, which was erected on a concrete base, was involved in the fighting for Berlin in 1945 and then became part of the NVA's holdings , which made it available for the memorial. In front of the tank memorial there is a green area with a memorial for Soviet soldiers. Until 1989, the Soviet soldiers and resistance fighters against the Nazi dictatorship were commemorated in the complex several times a year. After a citizen survey, on October 20, 1992, the local council spoke out in favor of preserving the monument, which is now the last tank monument in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
