Paolo Fanton (born October 26, 1991 ) is an Italian cross-country skier .

Career

Fanton made his debut in the Alpine Cup in Toblach in March 2012 , where he finished 53rd in the 3.3 km freestyle, 44th place over 10 km classic and 43rd in the subsequent freestyle pursuit race. He achieved his first point placement in December 2012 at his next start in the Alpine Cup with 28th place over 10 km freestyle in Goms . In March 2013, Fanton placed 15th in the 3.3 km freestyle for the first time among the top twenty. Fanton had his first start in the World Cup in December 2013 in Davos , where he finished 44th in the 30 km freestyle. In February 2014, he was eleventh over 15 km freestyle at the Alpine Cup in Campra . In December 2015 he started in the World Cup for the second time; He finished 64th in the classic 15 km class in Toblach. In Planica , Fanton achieved his first podium in the Alpine Cup in January 2016 with third place over 15 km freestyle.
