Papa AP (born January 6, 1981 in Chalatenango , El Salvador ) is a Canadian reggaeton singer and producer.
Live and act
He was born in a small village in Salvador and finally came to Canada via the United States. He started singing at the age of ten, and in 1998 he first attracted attention with a title on a compilation album.
He landed an international hit in the summer of 2005 with a cover version of the hit Gasolina , which was originally written by the Puerto Rican Daddy Yankee . His interpretation was more successful than the original, especially in France.
His title Entre tú y yo is also a cover version - the original is from Puerto Rican Don Omar .
Papa AP's debut album was released in the summer of 2005 under the title Assesina .
Its name corresponds to the French pronunciation of "Papa Happy".
