(Papa) Malick Ba (born November 11, 1980 in Pikine ) is a former Senegalese football player .

Career

In his youth, Ba played in a training center in Dakar before he was signed by the successful Tunisian football club Club Sportif Sfaxien from Sfax in 1997 . He has been a regular there since 2000 and won the Tunisian championship with the club in 2005.

In July 2005, the Swiss champions FC Basel signed him for three years.

After his contract expired in the summer of 2008, Ba was without a club until February 2009 when Dinamo Bucharest signed him . In the summer he finally moved to France for FC Nantes , who had just been relegated to Ligue 2 . In the summer of 2012, his contract was not renewed and he was without a club for half a year. At the beginning of 2013 he moved to FC Mulhouse , where he was under contract until the summer of 2016, after which he ended his career.
