Pape is an underground subway station in Toronto . It is on the Bloor-Danforth Line of the Toronto Subway , at the intersection of Danforth Avenue and Pape Avenue. The station has side platforms and is used by an average of 28,710 passengers every day (2015).

There are transfer options to four bus routes. The station opened on February 26, 1966, along with the Keele - Woodbine section . Pape is the first station on the Bloor-Danforth line to be extensively renovated as part of a modernization program. The program included the construction of a second access to the platforms, the installation of elevators, artistic design and improvement of safety and lighting. The work started in September 2009 and lasted until 2012.

As part of the Transit City project, various light rail routes were planned. One of these, the 10 miles long Don Mills LRT, should have connected Pape to Don Mills station on the Sheppard Line . The opening was planned for 2016, but the project was postponed for the time being in 2010.
