Papyrus 50 (named after Gregory-Aland with Sigel 50 ) is an early Greek copy of the New Testament . This papyrus manuscript of the Acts of the Apostles contains verses 8.26-32; 10.26-31. By means of paleography it was the 4th / 5th. Century assigned.

The Greek text of the code is mixed and has some orthographical peculiarities and corrections. Kurt Aland placed him in Category III . In general, the text is consistent with the Codex Sinaiticus and Codex Vaticanus .

The noun sacra are contracted.

The manuscript is currently held in the Beincke Rare Book and Manuscript Library at Yale University under the call number P. Yale 1543 in New Haven .
