Papyrus 71 (named after Gregory-Aland with Sigel 71 ) is an early Greek copy of the New Testament . This papyrus manuscript of the Gospel of Matthew contains only verses 19.10-11.17-18. It was dated to the 4th century by means of paleography .

The Greek text of the Codex represents the Alexandrian text type . Kurt Aland placed him in Category II .
