Papyrus 81 (named after Gregory-Aland with Sigel 81 ) is an early Greek copy of the New Testament . This papyrus manuscript contains some parts of the 1st letter of Peter . The remaining text includes verses 1,20-3,1.4-12. It was dated to the 4th century using paleography .

The Greek text of the Codex likely represents the Alexandrian text type . Aland classified him in Category II because of his age .

The manuscript is currently owned by S. Daris (№ 20) in Trieste .
