Papyrus 86 (named after Gregory-Aland with Sigel 86 ) is an early Greek copy of the New Testament . This papyrus manuscript contains parts of the Gospel of Matthew . Verses 5: 13-16, 22-25 have been preserved. It was dated to the 4th century by means of paleography .

The Greek text of the Codex represents the Alexandrian text type . Aland placed him in Category II .

The manuscript is stored in the Institute for Archeology at the University of Cologne under the signature P. Col. theol. 5516 kept.
