The parable GmbH based in Berlin, is a company in the field of renewable energy. Since it was founded in 1992, Parabel GmbH was initially a company in the solar industry. At the beginning, the focus was on the planning of individual photovoltaic and solar thermal systems as well as the wholesale trade with the associated components. In addition, the refinement of flexible thin-film modules was offered. As a result of the crisis in the solar industry , the company also offers grid expansion and the construction of area power plants in order to establish electricity from renewable energies on the market independently of subsidies.
history
The company, founded in 1992, built the first photovoltaic roof systems in 1993 as part of the 1000 and 100,000 roof programs . In 2002, Parabel GmbH received the German solar award in the solar construction category for the concept of warm rent-neutral renovation with the solar energy center / SEZ in multi-storey apartment building . In 2007 the company changed its legal form to a stock corporation and one year later appeared on the market as a manufacturer of flexible thin-film modules. In 2012, annual sales of over 100 million euros were recorded for the first time and the 100 MWp limit for installed DC power was also exceeded. In addition, the expansion of network infrastructures for solar parks was advanced in the same year. With a resolution of September 30, 2013, Parabel AG renamed its original legal form and has since been listed as Parabel GmbH.
