Parada is a place and a former municipality ( Freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Alfândega da Fé . 124 inhabitants lived in the community (as of June 30, 2011). On September 29, 2013, the parishes of Parada and Sendim da Ribeira were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Parada e Sendim da Ribeira . Parada is the seat of this newly formed community.
