Paria is a solo album by the Dortmund rapper Reece . It was released on March 6, 2015 on his own label Kopfnussmusik as a standard edition and as a premium edition, which included a bonus CD and a poster in addition to the standard edition.
background
Just a few months after Aus Kohlen und Stahl , Reece announced his first solo album Paria, which should be released in 2014. Since he was not yet satisfied with his songs, he postponed the album to the end of February 2015. He had to postpone the release date by a week to March 6, 2015 due to an error in the press shop.
His promo phase was supported by an interview with TV Street Sound, and the album was also reported to a small extent in various hip-hop media. In addition to four video clips, Reece also uploaded a song without a video and two video blogs on YouTube.
Subject
With the album, Reece offers a deep insight into his life in which he sees himself as an outsider. First of all, in Different from Everyone, he summarizes who people mistake him for. In Gone Through Fire, he tells of his career as a drug dealer and life as a failed existence. The songs Rest in Peace , which is dedicated to his late father, and No woman is like you , a song for his mother, are very personal . In Generation Aburz he criticizes today's consumer society while at the same time making it clear that he is part of this society. The album closes with Path of an Outsider , where Reece reiterates not to take an ordinary path to achieve his goals.

On the cover you can see half of Reece's face. The font is red on the Standard Edition and gold on the Premium Edition.

On five of the fifteen songs in the Standard Edition you will find guest contributions by other artists, especially of course from Reeces label. So you meet MIKI on three tracks and Sonikk has a guest part on the path of an outsider . Outside of the label, Baba Saad and Luthifa were featured on Gegen den Strom .
