Paris (rock band)

Paris was an American rock band formed by guitarist and singer Bob Welch in 1975 after he left Fleetwood Mac . Other members of the power trio were bassist Glenn Cornick , formerly with Jethro Tull , and drummer Thom Mooney , formerly with Todd Rundgren with Nazz .

The group released two albums on Capitol Records . However, the great success did not materialize and the band broke up in 1977. After the first album, Mooney was replaced by Hunt Sales , who had also played with Rundgren. A planned third album did not materialize, Welch used the material for his first solo album French Kiss (1977).
