Park West Gallery
The Park West Gallery is founded by Albert Scaglione 1969 in Southfield , Michigan -based commercial art gallery that sells mostly on cruise ships.
The company began its ship auctions in 1993, which today account for about half of the company's reported sales of $ 300-400 million. These revenues are realized through the sale of around 300,000 art objects per year. Contract partners include Norwegian Cruise Line , Carnival Cruise Lines and Royal Caribbean Cruises . Park West proclaims itself the largest art dealer in terms of sales in the world. In recent years there have been an increasing number of complaints and lawsuits from customers claiming excessive prices and misleading buyers.
