software

Parley is a highly flexible learning program that uses the Leitner system approach . However, this is not the only method that can be used for learning with this program. It consists of two main parts: the vocabulary exercises and an editor for vocabulary collections . The vocabulary trainer is very extensive and offers a variety of setting options for creating word lists and learning. Under Parley there are vocabulary collections in various categories, such as languages, anatomy , music , geography , chemistry or test preparation. Parley can handle the .kvtml (1 and 2) and .csv files and export them again.

history

The software project was started in 1998, but at that time it was still called KVocTrain . During porting to KDE4 in 2007, the project was renamed Parley.
