Parque de las Instrucciones del Año XIII
The Parque de las Instrucciones del Año XIII is a park in the Uruguayan capital of Montevideo .
It is located in Barrio Punta Carretas in the western part of the headland that forms the southernmost point of Montevideo and protrudes into the Río de la Plata . The Parque de las Instrucciones del Año XIII extends west of Bulevar Artigas 379 , bordered by Avenida Julio M. Sosa , Avenida Juan A. Cachón and Rambla Pte. Wilson . The park used as a golf course was designed by Dr. Allister Mackenzie built and opened in 1934.
The park has been classified as a Monumento Histórico Nacional since 1975 .
