Pars Oil and Gas Company

Founded in 1994, Pars Oil and Gas Company is a national Iranian gas company . The company is a subsidiary of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and manages the Iranian part of the largest known gas field in the world: South Pars gas field . The company is headed by Ali Vakili.

Periods of exploitation by South Pars

The exploitation of the South Pars gas field has been divided into 28 phases so far. So far, phases 1 (through Petropars ), 2 + 3 (through Total , Gazprom , Petronas ), 4 + 5 (through Eni , Petropars), 6 + 7 + 8 (through Statoil , Petropars) and 9 + 10 (through LG or meanwhile GS, OIEC , IOEC ) partly not yet fully operational. Phases 12 (Petropars), 15 + 16 ( Khatam-al-Anbia ) and 17 + 18 (OIEC, IOCE, IDRO ) have been awarded and are being established. Phase 11 was awarded on July 3, 2017. The French Total holds 50.1%, the CNPC 30% and the NIOC subsidiary Petropars 19.9%.

Some of the remaining phases have been awarded without any progress in construction, or they will still be awarded.
