The Parsberg is a wooded elevation between Puchheim-Ort , Alling and Germering . It is an elevation of the Upper Freshwater Molasse, which is covered by boulder clay from the Mind Ice Age .

The characteristics of the Burgstall Parsberg indicate a settlement of this place since the early High Middle Ages .

This area gained supraregional importance through the Battle of Alling , in which Duke Ernst of Bavaria-Munich prevailed against his rival Ludwig the Bearded in 1422 and thus ended the two-year Bavarian War .

Parsberg is a protected landscape area (LSG-00309.06). The area in the Fürstenfeldbruck district was placed under protection in 1979.
