Partaging
Partagierung (from French : partage - "to share") refers to the automatic radio channel distribution in satellite-based radio transmission. With television , for example, this method offers the possibility of transmitting two programs on a common channel .
A distinction is made between different variants of the division of limited transmission capacities:
- Sharing in frequency : The users or applications share a frequency range ( frequency band ) in the same place and in the same polarization . The carrier frequencies are offset against each other in such a way that the mutual influence is not disruptive.
- Sharing in time : The users or applications share a frequency band in such a way that the transmissions of one user take place at different times in the transmission gaps of the other. Example: Nickelodeon and Comedy Central .
- Partagierung in the code : The user or applications share a frequency range at the same location and in the same polarization, wherein the respective transmissions using spread spectrum to be coded. This means that the broadcasts can be superimposed without interfering with one another.
