The Social Justice Party ( Russian: Па́ртия социа́льной справедли́вости  / Partija Sozialnoj sprawedliwosti ) was a socially conservative political party in Russia that existed from 2002 to 2008.

Party history

The party was considered loyal to the policies of Vladimir Putin and the pro-government United Russia party . It was established in 2002 and took part in the elections to the Russian State Duma in the election bloc with the Russian Party of Pensioners the following year . In doing so, however, she missed the five percent hurdle. In the 2007 elections , the party stood for the first time independently, but was again unable to enter the State Duma. Due to the persistent failure, the party joined the larger Just Russia party in 2008 , which is also represented in the Russian State Duma.

Chairman

The party chairman was history professor Alexei Podberjoskin , who ran in the 2000 presidential elections, but received only 0.13% of the vote at the time.
