The Party of the People's Will ( Arabic حزب إرادة الشعب, DMG Ḥizb irādat aš-Šaʿb ) is a Syrian political party that is part of the opposition Popular Front for Change and Freedom . Popular Will Party is the legal name of the National Committee for the Unity of Syrian Communists .
Qadri Jamil is the party’s founder. The National Committee (or the People's Will Party) was formed after its members were expelled from the Bakdash faction of the Syrian Communist Party on charges of Trotskyism . Together with a wing of Ali Haidar's Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP) , it forms the Popular Front for Change and Freedom.
