The Popular Front for Change and Freedom ( Arabic الجبهة الشعبية للتحرير والتغيير, DMG al-Ǧabha aš-Šaʿbiyya li-t-Taḥrīr wa-t-Taġyīr ) is an alliance of Syrian political parties and is currently the leading political opposition in the Syrian Parliament (People's Council) .

The Popular Front for Change and Freedom, formed in August 2011, brought together the People's Will Party of Qadri Jamil , the wing of the SSNP led by Ali Haidar , and other parties. The alliance sees itself as a “bridge between government and road” and is considered to be relatively close to the government. Although it clearly criticizes the actions of the Assad government, on the other hand it defends the state and its institutions and rejects a violent overthrow. It welcomed the reforms announced by the President in December 2011 and the new constitution .

In the 2012 parliamentary elections, the alliance received a total of 5 seats in the Syrian People's Council, 4 of them for the SSNP and one for the Party of the People's Will. The leader of the alliance Qadri Jamil said that there were several violations of the electoral law in the election to favor the opponent of the Popular Front, the ruling National Progress Front .
