The Partido Andalucista was a Spanish party founded in 1976 and dissolved in 2015. It was a left regional party that was active in the autonomous community of Andalusia .
history
The party was formed in 1976 when the Alianza Socialista de Andalucía, founded in 1965, changed its name to Partido Socialista de Andalucía (PSA). In January 1979 it took over the name Partido Socialista de Andalucía-Poder Andaluz (PSA-PA) and in February 1984 the current name Partido Andalucista .
In 1979 the PSA-PA won 5 seats in the Congreso de los Diputados with around 325,000 votes (1.81%) . In 1982 and 1986 it missed the entry with 0.4% and 0.47% of the vote. In 1989 she won 1.04% of the vote (2 seats), in 1993 and 1996 she remained without MPs (0.41% and 0.54%). After 2000 it appointed a representative (0.89%), but failed to return in 2004 (0.70%). In 2008 she joined other regional parties as Coalición Andalucista , but only got 0.27% of the vote. In the 2011 elections she received 0.32%.
At the regional level, the PA reached between 2.7 and 10.8%. From 1996 to 2004 she formed a coalition with the PSOE under the leadership of Manuel Chaves . In the regional and local elections in Spain in 2011 , she ran for elections in 282 municipalities and won 470 seats in 177 municipalities. In the previous election in 2007 there were 525 MPs in 201 out of 366 electoral districts.
At the European level, the Partido Andalucista was, like other Spanish regional parties, also a member of the European Free Alliance .
ideology
The party described its ideology as nacionalista, federalista, y progresista ( nationalist , federal , progressive ). The primary goal was to strengthen the autonomy of Andalusia.
The party's youth organization was the Juventudes Andalucistas .
