Partidul Republican din Moldova

The Partidul Republican din Moldova (PRM, Republican Party of Moldova ) is a centralized political party in the Republic of Moldova .

The party wants to contribute to the development of the Republic of Moldova as a sovereign, democratic, constitutional and territorially integral state. She wants to promote integration into the international community and the consolidation of civil society in order to ensure the stability and irreversibility of the political, economic, social and spiritual reforms in Moldova.

history

The party was founded on August 15, 1999. The first party leader was Valeri Efremov , later followed by Ion Curtean .

In the 2001 election , the party ran together with the Socialist Party of Moldova . The electoral bloc received 0.46% of the vote under the name Edinstvo (unit).

In the 2005 election , the party achieved 0.04%. In the parliamentary elections in April 2009 , the PRM received 0.09% of the vote. In the early elections in July 2009 , the PRM decided not to run and instead supported the Democratic Party of Moldova .

On August 1, 2010, the former Foreign Minister Andrei Stratan was elected as the new party leader. In the early election in November 2010 , the party achieved 0.10%.
