Parwin Pazwak

Parwin Pazwak (* 1967 in Kabul ) is an Afghan pediatrician, poet and writer with a Tajik background.

Parwin Pazwak grew up in a politically and literarily interested family. She attended the French Malalai high school for girls and then studied medicine at the Avicenna Institute in Kabul. In addition to her work as a pediatrician, Parwin Pazwak wrote poems and short stories that were also addressed to children. She also devoted herself to painting. As a refugee, she spent two years in Pakistan and now lives with her husband and children in Ontario , Canada .
