Pas'cha

A pas'cha ( Russian пасха , Russian for Easter ) is a dessert made from quark , cream , butter , sugar and eggs as well as various spices, the preparation of which is part of the Easter tradition in Russia and the Baltic States .

Believers of the Russian Orthodox Church bring this food, as well as red-colored eggs and kulich , often in the Easter Vigil after the liturgy or on Easter Sunday to church, while they are the priests in the rite of food consecration blessed .
