Pascal Bosschaart (born February 28, 1980 in Rotterdam ) is a Dutch football player . The defensive specialist has been under contract with the Australian first division club Sydney FC since summer 2011 .

Career

Bosschaart joined the professional squad of FC Utrecht in 1997 . On October 5, 1997, he made his professional debut in the Eredivisie . By the end of the season he came on regular assignments for the Utrecht club. In the following years he established himself and was one of the top performers who won the KNVB Cup , the Dutch Cup, in 2003 and 2004 . After the second success, Feyenoord Rotterdam courted him . Finally, Bosschaart moved to the top Dutch club in the summer of 2004. Although a regular player there too, they parted ways after two years and the defensive specialist was loaned out to league competitor ADO Den Haag . After the loan period expired, ADO finally secured the services of the defensive all-rounder. In the summer of 2011, the left-footer moves to Australia and receives a one-year contract there.
