Scheme of the passage Tombs

The Passage Tomb of Cross is located on a hill in Townland Cross near Cushendun in County Antrim in Northern Ireland .

The Passage Tomb lies in the remains of a round hill about 15 m in diameter, of which some curbs have been preserved. A corridor about one meter long, facing north, leads to an oval chamber, half-filled with rubble, a little more than 1 m wide and 1.5 m long and with five preserved granite stones . The corridor was probably longer originally - there are a few slightly shifted stones in front of it. It is interesting that the corridor is oriented towards the easternmost point of Rathlin Island . A large slab next to the megalithic complex is probably a relocated capstone of the chamber.

Cross is a Scheduled Monument . Nearby are Altagore Cashel and West Torr's Passage Tomb .
