Galgenwiesen is a nature reserve in the area of ​​the municipalities of Nusplingen in the Zollernalb district (NSG number 4.296) and Bärenthal and Egesheim in the district of Tuttlingen (NSG number 3.253) in Baden-Württemberg . With an ordinance of December 1, 1999, the Tübingen Regional Council placed the area under nature protection.

location

The nature reserve includes the valley floodplain of the Bära valley in the area of ​​the union of the Upper and Lower Bära. It is located around two kilometers south of Nusplingen and belongs to the 093- Hohe Schwabenalb natural area within the main natural area 09- Swabian Alb . It borders on two sides of the approximately 14,666 hectare protected landscape area No. 4.17.042 Großer Heuberg and is part of the approximately 5,418 hectare FFH area No. 7919341 Danube Valley and plateaus from Tuttlingen to Beuron . It is also located in the 43,031 hectare bird sanctuary no. 7820441 Südwestalb and Upper Danube Valley .
