Hohegert is a nature reserve designated by the Tübingen regional council of October 11, 1979 with the number 4.076.

location

The nature reserve is located in the natural area of the southwestern Alb foreland . It is located about 1200 meters north of the Bisingen district of Wessingen . In the north it borders on the landscape protection area No. 4.17.046 Mittleres Starzeltal and is part of the FFH area No. 7619-311 areas between Bisingen, Haigerloch and Rosenfeld .

Protection purpose

According to the ordinance, the main protection purpose is the preservation of the semi-dry, semi-arid grass and the litter meadow at the foot of the slope with the abundant rare animal and plant populations.

flora

Stemless thistle , scabiosa knapweed , cypress spurge , common fringed gentian , mosquito hendelwort and bee ragwort thrive in the area .
