The Westerberg nature reserve is located in the municipality of Nusplingen in the Zollernalb district in Baden-Württemberg .

The area extends west of the village. The state road L 433 runs east and south.

Since 1987, a 42.8 hectare area has been designated as a nature reserve for Nusplingen under the protection area number 4.137. The area is a richly structured hedge landscape of the Alb plateau with stone bars and extensive agricultural use of the rough meadows .
