Häselteiche is a nature reserve with the number 4.098 near Bickelsberg , a district of Rosenfeld in the Zollernalb district, designated by ordinance of the Tübingen regional council of July 1, 1982 .

location

The nature reserve is located in the natural area of the southwestern Alb foreland and is around 500 meters north of Bickelsberg on a marl slope that slopes north to the Hausterbach . It is part of the FFH area No. 7619-311 areas between Bisingen, Haigerloch and Rosenfeld .

Protection purpose

According to the ordinance, the main protection purpose is to maintain its near-natural state. The scenic grassland includes flat moor meadows, wet meadows, semi-dry lawns, deciduous trees and also moderately intensively used fat meadows, in which, among other things, four types of orchid can be found. There are many endangered breeding bird species in the area.

Flora and fauna

The bush carnation , mosquito handelwort , globe flower and meadow flax leaf must be mentioned as representative of the botanical rarities of the area . The following were observed in breeding birds: whinchat , red-backed shrike , gray shrike and wryneck .
