The Stromelsberg-Hessenbühl nature reserve is located in the area of ​​the city of Meßstetten and the municipality of Obernheim in the Zollernalb district in Baden-Württemberg .

The area extends west of the core town of Meßstetten and northwest of the core town of Obernheim. The state road L 440 runs east.

For Meßstetten and Obernheim a 43.6 hectare area has been designated as a nature reserve under the protection area number 4.148 since 1988 . The area is a richly structured hedge landscape of the Alb plateau with rows of hedge, stone bars , fringing companies and rough meadows . It is a feeding and breeding biotope for birds of prey .
