The Schopfeln-Rehletal area has been a designated nature reserve since November 10, 2011 (NSG number 3.281) in the Baden-Württemberg districts of Konstanz and Tuttlingen in Germany .

location

The approximately 172 hectares (ha) large nature reserve Schopfeln-Rehletal is one natural area to Hegaualb . It is located on the Engen district of Biesendorf (2.9% / 5.0436 ha) and the Immendinger district of Hattingen (97.1% / 167.9761 ha), about 2.9 kilometers southwest of the Biesendorfer and 2.2 kilometers south of the Hattinger town center, at an average altitude of 666  m above sea level. Protection purpose

The main protection purpose is the preservation of a mosaic of light and species-rich coniferous, in particular pine forests with inland borders and relict sites, grasslands and meadows with a nationally significant occurrence of lady 's slipper, a habitat for numerous endangered animal and plant species, some of which are threatened with extinction, as an object for science and regional studies.

Connection with other protected areas
