Graues Ried is a nature reserve in the area of ​​the municipalities Gaienhofen and Moos in the district of Konstanz in Baden-Württemberg . It covers around 12  hectares of a flat moor basin in the valley of the Mühlebach on the northern edge of the Schiener Berg and was designated as a nature reserve in 1978. The specialty of the area results from its floristically rich flour primrose and rush population .

Protection purpose

According to the Protected Area Ordinance, the main protection purpose is the preservation of the gray reed as a habitat for species-rich societies of rare, sometimes endangered plant species.
