The Bodenseeufer area on the Markelfingen district is a nature reserve (NSG number 3.120) designated by ordinance of September 10, 1982 in the area of the Baden-Württemberg city of Radolfzell on Lake Constance in the district of Konstanz in Germany .
location
The approximately 26 hectare , two-part nature reserve Bodenseeufer on the Markelfingen district naturally belongs to the Hegau and Lake Constance basin . It is located at the Markelfinger Winkel in the Radolfzell district of Markelfingen , at an altitude of 400 m above sea level. NN , south of the Radolfzell– Konstanz railway line , northwest and southeast of the mouth of the Mühlenbach.
Protection purpose
The main protection purpose is the preservation of the shores of Lake Constance as a habitat for numerous plant and animal species, some of which are threatened by decline or extinction, and as a landscape of special character and beauty.
