The Bruckried is a designated nature reserve since January 3, 1978 in the area of the community Mühlhausen-Ehingen in the Baden-Württemberg district of Konstanz in Germany .
Geographical location
The 18.7 hectares large reserve is one natural area to Hegau . It is located west of the federal highway 81 , southeast of the Ehinger and northeast of the Mühlhausen town center at an altitude of about 470 m above sea level. NHN .
The Bruck Ried is since 1 January 2005 a branch of the after Directive 92/43 / EEC (Fauna and Habitats Directive) reported reserve Western Hegau (reserve ID 8218341).
meaning
It is a moor area destroyed by peat extraction , which currently has a very differentiated vegetation mosaic with a large number of limestone moor communities due to regeneration and is also of ornithological importance as a wetland.
Essential protection purpose
