In the Ehinger Ried

The Ehinger Ried area is a nature reserve designated by ordinance of April 29, 1985 (NSG number 3.143) in the Baden-Württemberg district of Konstanz in Germany .

location

The approximately 21 hectare large nature reserve Ehinger Ried is one natural area to Hegau . It is located in the Ehingen district in the municipality of Mühlhausen-Ehingen at an average altitude of 460  m above sea level. NHN .

Protection purpose

The main protection purpose is "the preservation of a wetland that has been upgraded through land consolidation as a habitat for a large number of rare and endangered animal and plant communities as well as a research and demonstration object for science."
