Segete is a nature reserve in the municipality of Gaienhofen in the district of Konstanz in Baden-Württemberg . The 7.0 hectare area north of the core town of Gaienhofen and west of the Gaienhofen district of Horn has been designated as a nature reserve since November 14, 1991.

meaning

The area is a silting bog , one of the few intermediate bogs in the western Lake Constance area . The main protection purpose is the preservation of the Segete wetland as a habitat for rare and endangered animal and plant species.
