The Winterried area is a nature reserve designated by ordinance of August 1, 1962 (NSG number 3.065) in the Baden-Württemberg district of Konstanz in Germany .

location

The approximately 4.3 hectare large nature reserve "Wintersried" is one natural area to Hegau . It is located about three and a half kilometers northwest of the center of Allensbach , at an average altitude of 449  m above sea level. NN .

Protection purpose

Essential protective purpose is to preserve one resulting from a glacial lake siltation Moors between wooded drumlins south of Mind Kochel with an interesting flora .

Flora and fauna

The following rare and partly endangered plant species (selection) were recorded in the nature reserve:
Alpine cottongrass , brown sedge , wire sedge , thread sedge , flesh-colored orchid , flea sedge , grove peat moss , heart leaf , caraway silge , Magellan peat moss , bog bedstraw , bog-cotton grass , superb carnation , Reddish peat moss , sundew , Eriophorum angustifolium , Carex rostrata , Thelypteris palustris , marsh Haarstrang , marsh Streifenstern moss , swamp willow-herb , pond horsetail , White beak-sedge and dioecious Sedge .

Connection with other protected areas

With the reserve "Wintersried" which are protected landscape " Bodanrück " (3.35.009), the FFH " Bodanrück and west. Constance " (DE-8220-341), and the Bird Sanctuary " Bodanrück " (DE-8220-402) as designated contiguous protected areas.
