The Fischerweihermoor area is a nature reserve designated by ordinance of July 12, 1990 (NSG number 3.173) in the Baden-Württemberg district of Konstanz in Germany .
location
The approximately 54 hectare large nature reserve "fishing pond Moor" is one of the natural area for Hegau . It is located in the Kaltbrunn district , about two and a half kilometers northwest of the center of Allensbach , at an average altitude of 432 m above sea level. NHN .
It is drained to the south-east by the Kaltbrunner Bach and the Bündlisriedgraben, which opens at an acute angle . The Kaltenbrunner Bach itself reaches the local Mühlbach shortly before the northern outskirts of Allensbach , which after passing through the village flows into the part of Lake Constance called Gnadensee .
Protection purpose
The main protection purpose is the preservation of a richly structured wetland with three remaining areas of a formerly extensive moor complex, low moor and litter meadow complexes and an intermediate moor as a habitat for a variety of rare and protected animal and plant species.
